This episode is scene three in the first play, The Suburbs, in The Silverfields of Northbrook trilogy. It's early summer 1955. The family has moved from Chicago's lake front to Northbrook, a growing north shore suburb. The Silverfields meet their new, immediate neighbors: Hyman, Frances, Jimmy, Elaine & Stanton Krauss.
