This episode is  Scene Three in Serviceman.  The episode publication date, May 30, is the U. S. Memorial Day celebration and acknowledgement of the nation's warriors.  

Stanley L. Silverfield, our family warrior, died on October 15, 1990, in Rockford, Illinois.. Forty-five years to the day after his Army Air Corps service separation.

Now, as you listen, Our hero, The Silver King, has returned to the states from Europe.  It's October 1945.  Stanley is at Fort McPherson, Georgia, to complete his separation process from active duty in the Army Air Corps. The King's exit interview with the Separation Officer changes his life.
